Police investigate the scene where Leslie Huggins was killed after getting robbed in his home in Queens Village.
Leslie Huggins, 38, was gunned down at his Francis Lewis Blvd. home in Queens Village just after 11:30 a.m., cops said.
His wife, Michelle, found his body there, neighbors said.
"The wife came here and said that her husband was laying on the ground bleeding from his head," said Dave Brown, who owns a nearby barbershop.
Paramedics raced to the scene, but it was too late - Huggins was already dead.
"He worked hard," said his aunt Theresa Clyburn, 51. "He was a quiet, non violent person."
Clyburn said Huggins immigrated from Trinidad in the 1990s.
"He came here to work," she said.
Neighbor Araseli Bennett, 23, said she saw suspicious men in the neighborhood minutes before the robbery.
"I saw these two guys who I have never seen here before," she said.
There's been no arrests.
It was unclear what, if anything, was taken from the Huggins' home.
