Rihanna's new video for 'We Found Love' features British model/boxer Dudley O'Shaughnessy |
Shots of pills, tattoo needles, smoke and dilating pupils -- coupled with some light-hearted fun, passionate sex and fierce anger -- fills Rihanna's darkly intense music video.
It begins with the singer and former British boxer Dudley O'Shaughnessy sulking in a bathtub with their clothes on. As supermodel Agnes Deyn's voice is heard talking about the pains of romance, a montage of the couple's happy moments flash onscreen.
Not only is O'Shaughnessy a dead-ringer for Rihanna's ex Chris Brown, but there is also a scene in which the two scream at each other in a car -- just like the infamous night the R&B singer beat her in 2009 following the Grammys.
"We Found Love" was directed by Melina Matsoukas, who also did Rihanna's "S&M", "Hard", "Rude Boy" and "Rockstar 101."
Shot in Bangor, Northern Ireland, the video caused controversy during production when a farmer who owned the land on which Rihanna was filming told the scantily-clad singer to cover up. He reportedly later kicked them off his land
